This year the festival is being held for the 37th time, opening on July 4 and running until July 13. Over those ten days, visitors will be able to enjoy some 300 films from around the world, some of which will be presented by the film-makers themselves. Among the special guests this year are the actors Sean Connery and Michael York, director John Boorman and others.
