Last season’s loss of CZK 140 million still improvement for Sparta Prague

The Czech soccer league champions Sparta Prague recorded a loss of CZK 140 million last season, according to the magazine Euro. Nevertheless, the results were the best in three years; in 2012/2013 the club recorded a loss of CZK 190 million while the previous season saw a record CZK 240 million loss. Since being bought by businessman Daniel Křetínský in 2004 Sparta Prague has only made a profit in one season.
