Home team: Kl Krkonose
At last year's World Championships in Italy she won bronze on her 19th birthday. This season she came eighth in the World Cup competition in Spindleruv Mlyn.

Freestyle - Moguls:

Nikola Sudova (17. 3. 1982)
At the Salt Lake City Olympics, 19-year-old Nikola Sudova came nineteenth. The 2004/2005 season was far more successful. In January 2005 she won World Cup gold and in the World Championships in March she came second. This season she won bronze twice (World Cup in Canada and in Oberstdorf in Germany) and came fourth once (World Cup in Tignes in France).

Freestyle - Aerials:

Ales Valenta (6. 2. 1973)
Home team: Dukla Liberec
Ales Valenta won gold at the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002. Last season he underwent a spine operation and for a long period was unable to train. This nearly ended his career. This season he came sixth at the World Cup in Canada.



Cross-country:

Katerina Neumannova (15. 02. 1973)
Home team: Dukla Liberec
Katerina eumannova won her first Olympic gold in Nagano in 1998 (silver in classical, bronze in freestyle). She won silver twice in Salt Lake City. In 2004 she was voted the best skier in the Czech Republic. Last season has also so far gone very well for her. At the World Championships in Oberstdorf she came first in the freestyle.



Lukas Bauer (18. 8. 1977)
Home team: SKP Jablonex Jablonec nad Nisou
Lukas Bauer is the best all-round skier in the Czech team. At the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002 he came seventh twice (freestyle, relay) and eighth once (classical). He was Czech classical champion in 2003 and 2004, when he also won gold in the skiathlon. So far this season has been less successful for him.







Martin Koukal (25.09.1978)
Home team: SKP Jablonex Jablonec nad Nisou
Between 1998 and 2003 Martin Koukal was five times Czech champion (twice in freestyle, twice in sprint and once in classical). In 2003 he also became world champion in the 50 km freestyle. Last season his best result at the World Championships in Oberstdorf was third (sprint - pairs).
